of assessing their strengths and
developmental needs. The Management Assessment Profile (MAP)
is an innovative, valid, web-based, feedback program that allows
managers to take inventory of their managerial strengths and
weaknesses and then compare their self rankings with the anonymous
rankings given them by their subordinates, peers and supervisors.
Based on ten years of research, the MAP program allows a manager
to get specific feedback on his/her ability to lead others, communicate
effectively, motivate others, plan, make decisions, etc. While
LeadingWave Consulting has three "generic" versions
of the MAP program, we recommend that organizations develop company-specific
MAP's using our pool of over 300 questions. In this way, the
MAP program can be "linked" to your organization's
unique culture, management philosophy and performance appraisal
system.

Coaching

plan based on the results of their feedback. Such coaching sessions
typically require an initial hour to go over the feedback and
then an additional hour for the development of an action plan.
Fees for coaching sessions are $187.50/hour plus any travel expenses.

The Interpersonal Skills Profile (ISP) provides managerial and
non-managerial employees with feedback about how they are perceived
by others in the organization. The focus of the profile is on interpersonal skills - that is, how
effectively a person communicates and works with others both
within and outside his/her department. The profile
provides feedback on the 6 C's of effective business interactions
(Customer Focus, Collaboration, Cooperation,
Communication, Courtesy, and Candor). Here's
how the process works: the employee and his/her manager select
several people to anonymously rate his/her interpersonal skills
using our secure online forms. The employee rates his/her skills
as well. Those completing the questionnaire submit their responses
to LeadingWave Consulting for scoring, then, the results are
confidentially reported to the employee. An Action Planning guide
for outlining specific steps to be taken is also provided. By
completing the survey annually, employees can note progress against
developmental objectives.
