SESSION
DESCRIPTION
Motivating others is one of the most difficult and troubling
responsibilities of management. Motivated and involved employees
are certainly more productive and effective than are demotivated
employees, but figuring out what motivates employees can be difficult
and puzzling. And, to make the problem even more complex, different
employees are motivated by different things: what motivates
one employee may, in fact, be demotivating to another. This half-day
program attempts to remove some of the mystery surrounding motivation.
It identifies ten different motivation "styles" of
employees and provides practical, usable guidelines and suggestions
for motivating each style.
