DESCRIPTION
Have you ever said to yourself, "There just isn't enough
time in the day," or "I don't know where the week went?"
As changes in the world accelerate, the time pressures we experience
at work increase as well. Now our newly revised Managing Your
Time & Priorities program can help managers and non-managers
face these time pressures head-on. Through the use of a time
record log and in-class exercises, this program will help you
to find out exactly how and where your time is
being spent. It will teach you to recognize and avoid the major
time wasters of our fast-paced, information-overloaded world,
and to identify both the "internal" and "external"
causes of time problems. The program will also provide insight
for setting priorities using our 4-stage Urgency/Importance Grid,
and our Time Perspective Profile exercise will give insight into
participants' perception of time and how that perception
can create time management difficulties.

OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this program participants will be able to:
Estimate
the high cost of wasting time.
Explain
how their time is currently being spent using a prework Time
Record Log.
Differentiate
between "urgent" and "important" tasks or
activities.
Distinguish
between "internally" and "externally" caused
time wasters.
Prioritize
their tasks using the Urgency/Importance Grid.
Assess
their time perspective and learn how time perspective influences
time usage.
List
the 8 major time-wasters of modern times and provide solutions
for each.
